Privacy and biometric consent

Wusaba is built to keep ritual data private, intentional, and removable.

Biometric data

Heart rate, HRV, resting heart rate, and sleep data are optional. On the web, Wusaba asks for explicit consent before connecting to a Bluetooth heart-rate monitor. In the native iOS or Android app, Wusaba will ask for HealthKit or Health Connect permission before reading health data. These signals are used to modulate ritual visuals, audio pacing, and recommendations. If you are signed in and consent, start and end bio-snapshots may be saved under your private user profile to help you review ritual effects. Wusaba does not sell biometric or health-related data.

Storage and access

User records are stored in Firebase under account-scoped paths. Firestore security rules restrict user profile, session, saved ritual, and biometric documents to the signed-in owner. Public content such as landing pages and published journey metadata is separated from private account data.

Deletion requests

You can request deletion of account data, saved rituals, and biometric snapshots by contacting support from the email associated with your account. Wusaba will remove owner-scoped Firebase records unless retention is legally required.

Commerce and analytics

Physical product purchases may be processed by Stripe or other payment providers. Digital access sold inside a native app may use Apple or Google in-app purchase systems where required by store policy. Wusaba may use privacy-conscious analytics to understand app performance, playback completion, and product interactions. Payment card details are not stored by Wusaba.
